Understanding what’s happening in our bodies is the first step towards advocating for our health. In this workshop, we will learn how to prepare for, and navigate the changes of perimenopause with knowledge, herbal nourishment, and movement.
This workshop is designed for women ages 35–55, but all are welcome to attend.

How perimenopause and hormonal changes impact the tissues in the body, including the pelvic floor, joints, muscles, and bones
Movement, strengthening, and stretching exercises to prepare and support your body
How herbal medicine is a unique way of accessing nourishment and perimenopause support
How accessible herbs can tone, nourish, and build resilience and strength to help alleviate bone density loss, muscle weakness, and joint pain

About the workshop teachers:
Jodi Epstein is a movement and mindfulness teacher specializing in pelvic floor and core health. She leads seasonal workshops and works privately with clients to address pelvic pain, core weakness, and mobility challenges. Certified as an Interdisciplinary Pelvic Health Specialist under PT Isa Herrera and as a Pilates teacher through the Kinected School, Jodi has been teaching yoga since 2012 after completing her 200-hour certification. She has also studied prenatal and pelvic floor health with yoga therapist Juliana Mitchell, served on the faculty of the Living Now Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Training, completed courses in Mindfulness Meditation with Tara Brach and at Ishya Yoga, and is currently enrolled in the Chicago Center for Women’s Fitness Pre- and Postnatal Method program.
Alexandra Radoaca is an herbalist, wilderness guide, and sound practitioner. She focuses on building health through nourishment and working with local, accessible, abundant plants. She believes that herbalism is accessible to everyone. All we need is to follow our curiosity and get our hands in the dirt - the plants teach us the rest! She is the founder of Mindful Wilderness, an organization focused on herbal education and Vulgaris Herbs, an herbal shop in Sugar Loaf, NY, with a mission to serve our community with herbal supplies, small batch herbal remedies, botanical art, workshops, and consultations. She is a New York State certified camping and hiking guide and a Wilderness First Responder.
