These plants bring bountiful nourishment and sustained energy while protecting us from the heat, the bugs, and the sun. Summer is all about creating resilience in our nervous system and nourishing our creativity! Learn how to make various tinctures and medicinal remedies while sipping on red clover infusion and enjoying the gentle invigorating energy of motherwort and St John’s wort. These plants will bring support, joy, and abundance to your long summer days. This is a hands-on introductory herbal workshop where we will learn plant identification and sustainable harvesting practices and make remedies designed to build long-term health. Each participant will make and take home their own tincture (a tincture is made by combining plants with alcohol in order to extract medicinal constituents).
No previous experience is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.
